Star Wars: Force for Change Winner Announced 08/14/2014
The "Star Wars: Force for Change" campaign has announced the winner of the coveted walk-on role in "Star Wars: Episode VII" and although there will be millions of disappointed fans, one lucky guy is over the moon.
D.C. Barns from Denver, Colorado, a life-long Star Wars fan who says the first Star Wars movie split his head open, is the luckiest Star Wars fan in the universe. He will be travelling to London for his appearance in Episode VII. In the words of J.J. Abrams on Twitter: "DC BARNS, SEE YOU ON SET!"
J.J. Abrams thanked the fans who helped raise over five million dollars for UNICEF through the "Star Wars: Force for Change" campaign with a photo from the Bad Robot Twitter account.
