Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend Announced  05/28/2014

runDisney has announced its latest sponsored weekend of racing at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim California.

Joining the Disneyland, Avengers Super Heroes and Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekends, there will now be a Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend kicking off January 15, 2015.

The series will feature kids races, a 5K, 10K and a half marathon, with extra prizes for anyone brave enough to finish both the 10K and the half marathon.

This promises to be a great opportunity for Star Wars fans to have a fun weekend out starting with a Star Wars themed pre-race party, opportunities to meet Star Wars characters and races for the whole family to enjoy.

Registration for the Star Wars Half Marathon begins June 10.
