Most of the cast of “Return of the Jedi” - including Luke and Leia themselves, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher - reunited Friday for this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration Europe in Essen, Germany. The convention is celebrating the 30th annivesary of the 1983 classic, the last film in the original “Star Wars” trilogy.

Joining the stars were Peter Mayhew, more famous when he’s wearing his Chewbacca costume, Anthony Daniels (C3PO) and the nefarious Emporer Palpatine, aka British actor Ian McDiarmid. Warwick Davis, who played the Ewok named Wicket in “Return of the Jedi,” and Jeremy Bulloch, best known as the original Boba Fett, rounded out the panel.

Conspicuously absent from the festival was Harrison Ford, who played fan favorite Han Solo. The 71-year-old Hollywood legend had long eschewed ties to the role that turned him into an A-lister, but is now expected to join Hamill and Fisher in reprising their roles for director J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

“The natural acquiring of wisdom that comes with age” is what changed his mind, Ford told the Daily News in March.
