Dragon Con Parade on TV  08/19/2016

Exciting news from Dragon Con this year is that the parade will be shown live on TV. For all of you who can't make it down to Atlanta, you still get to check it out.

Dragon Con and The CW Atlanta (Channel 69, WUPA) have announced that the 2016 Dragon Con Parade will be broadcast live on The CW Atlanta on September 3, beginning at 10:00 AM. 

This is the first time that the Dragon Con Parade has been televised.  The parade will be hosted by Brian Richardson from DragonConTV, with special guests from Dragon Con, Netherworld Haunted House and Six Flags over Georgia.  The DragonConTV parade coverage will still be available in the Dragon Con host hotels.

Dragon Con hosts the largest parade in Atlanta, with 3,200 costumed participants marching down Peachtree St in front of thousands of spectators.

The parade will be rebroadcast on CW Atlanta at 8:00pm on September 3.

The public is cordially invited to share in the fun; however you must be a member of Dragon Con to march in our parade.

The parade route and other details will be revealed as the year progresses.  Stay tuned!
